Shortlink Arbitrage Blueprint: Turn Clicks into Cash

Ever clicked on a shortlink while trying to download a game, anime, or file—only to go through a bunch of steps? Annoying, right? But did you know the person who shared that link is actually earning money from it?

So why not you?

You can start earning from shortlinks too! Now you might ask, “But where will I get traffic from?” — That’s where GPT and faucet sites come in. These platforms use shortlinks to monetize, and you can do the same to earn passive income from user clicks.

These shortlink services let you earn money by sharing their links and rewarding users with a small amount for clicking. But the real question is—how do you profit from it?

✅ I’ve created a dedicated page listing all the top URL shorteners that allow faucet traffic. –

If you run a faucet site, you can integrate these shortlinks directly to boost your revenue.

Even if you don’t have your own site—don’t worry, I’ve also included a guide on how to advertise these links on external platforms and start earning right away!

Let’s start with an example using the shortlink site “Earnow” and the advertising platform “Bitcotask.”

Before jumping in, here’s something most people overlook: check if someone is already promoting the same shortlink on Bitcotask. You can usually do this by previewing the shortlink through their demo feature.

Let’s say someone is already running an Earnow link with a $3 CPM. Since Earnow also pays $3 CPM, there’s no profit margin — you’ll just break even or worse. In that case, it’s smarter to skip Bitcotask and look for another platform.

Now, your goal is to find a site where current advertisers are paying slightly less, say $1.90, and you can offer $2 or $2.10 to beat them. That way, you can rank higher and still make a profit. With 15–20 shortlink networks out there, you have options — pick one and find a traffic source where you can outbid and outperform the competition.

Now, let’s talk about “Faucet Mode.”
This feature limits how many times a user can complete your shortlink per IP address, helping you prevent abuse and save money.

Now to the main business model:

Let’s say you choose a shortlink network that pays $10 CPM (i.e., $10 per 1,000 views). When you advertise it:

  • You might be paying $5–$6 to attract users who will complete the link.
  • The ad platform (the site showing your shortlink) takes a small fee, say $0.50.
  • You’re also paying users about $0.0055 per claim.

All these costs combined might total around $6 per 1,000 users, but since your shortlink pays $10 CPM, you’re still making a solid $4 profit per 1,000 views.

which makes 10$ – 6$ = 4$ profit per 1000 views

However, keep in mind that you won’t always find shortlink sites offering both high CPM and faucet mode. In such cases, it’s often better to outbid your competition. This increases your chances of getting seen and clicked—yes, your profit margin might shrink, but earning something is always better than earning nothing.

How to Advertise on Shortlink Sites

I’ve attached a screenshot example using Earnow.
Just follow the same format:

  • Replace the shortlink name, website, API key, and bid price with your own details.
  • Choose a bid that’s competitive but still leaves room for profit.

That’s all for this post!
